Structure in dialogue with transformation – a flexible exhibition system for the Urban Space Laboratory
A flexible exhibition system was designed for the Stadtlabor at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences – a modular plug-in system adapted to DIN formats, which can be combined like a shelving unit and customized individually.
A simple plug-in system made of wood, developed through material testing and models – robust, understated, and adaptable to changing exhibition formats.
Material flaws, joint issues, and manufacturing difficulties revealed weaknesses in the first prototype. Through targeted adjustments, a revised second design was developed with improved functionality and execution.
